About
Music keeps Ozioma going; one of her first tools of self-soothing, which really came in handy when she moved across the world from Nigeria to Canada in 2017. After realizing how little coverage Black and African artists received in Canada, she was spurred to change that.
With a now budding career in journalism and communications, she's written for most major music outlets in Canada, with placements abroad, and her reach keeps growing. As a communications professional, she's supported media relations through press releases, artist bios, copywriting and more for organizations such as Universal Music Group, The Framework and The Hip-Hop Food Drive. She has also furthered her influence through engaging music content across platforms, with views averaging over 10,000 a month.
Culture and community are key to all she does. No artist is too small, and she values expressions in all forms. She can often
be found attending live music events or giving unsolicited opinions. She is motivated by and beholden to creativity in all forms.
